Creamy Corn Soup

I'm making creamy corn soup for this week blog, because I feel like I should make something that is warm and hot to eat. First thing that pop up to my mind is the creamy corn soup.
When I was yonger, I made a Spicy Fish Corn Soup by fun with my own recipe, and it actually taste great! but I forgot how to make it, so I did some research online to find soup that's easy to make and with simple ingredients. Since I live alone by myself, I want to learn something that's fast to cook and yummy at the same time.
Therefore, I find this recipe online, it's very simple and easy. Let's start it!! ;)
Recipe/3 serving/30mins
Ingredients list
Butter 30g
Onion 1/2 half of a onion
Flour 4-5 Tbsp
Sausage/bacon as you wish
Carrot as you wish
Shelled corn as you wish
Milk 100-120ml
Water 200ml
salt and pepper for seasoning
*All the ingredients does not have to be exactly, you might need to adjust.
Steps
-Chop onion, carrot, sausage into dices or any shapes you want (similar size like dices).

-Melt butter and add chopped onion.

-After onion is transparent, add flour and stirring into roux.
-Slowly add milk, keep stirring and mixing.
-Add water and chopped sausage, carrot, shelled corn, some salt and pepper, lid on, bring to boil.
-Stirring, and seasoning again if need to.


-Ready to serve.
Relfection
I really like the smell of it, it's very warm and tasty. The soup itself is creamy, the Sausage and carrot are nice too, but I can not taste any flavor from them, because they all goes into the soup, over all I really like it, but do not eat too much, I found out that if I eat too much, I don't feel to eat any more, maybe because of the butter, i'm not sure.
If I will make this soup again, I will adjust the ingredients more flexible, because I found out that some time ingredients are not not something that you have to follow, sometime it just depends on you, but for the roux, when you got the mash texture, it is good enough, even if you add a little bit too much milk, you will end up adding water later, so be flexible on the amount of ingredients.
During the process, I actually short of roux, therefore, I start another new pan to made roux and add to the soup and bring to boil. Other than this part of process, it was all good.
I made my sister to taste it, but she did not eat it right a way, she ate the soup the day after, so what she did was just reheat it again, therefore she felts that the soup was too creamy, and no flavor for Sausage, and she really like the smell, which made she ate more.
So I reheat the soup again too, but I add some water, not too much, because I want the creamy texture, and I seasoning the soup with salt and pepper again. I made my friend to ate it, all she said was "Yumm, it taste so good meggy!!" :D
